The Liverpool restaurant refurbishment, our second project for Archies, involved an extensive renovation of the existing store, starting with the upstairs seating and toilet areas before moving downstairs. The successful completion of the project resulted in a modern, efficient, and aesthetically pleasing store that meets the high standards set on our first project.
Challenges
A significant challenge was managing the logistics of working in a live store environment, as the store remained open and trading for the first half of the project duration. The successful completion of the refurbishment hinged on efficient coordination and minimising disruptions to store operations.
Scope of Works
The refurbishment project encompassed a wide range of specialised services both interior and exterior. Bespoke joinery of a custom counter, feature mesh ceiling rafts, branded wall paneling, fitted seating, and unique waste bins.
Also the installation of a concrete branded feature floor and a comprehensive mechanical and electrical package. Finally, laser-cut stainless steel panelling and partitioning were added.
Mechanical & Electrical
A comprehensive mechanical and electrical package was implemented, covering sprinklers, catering equipment, electrical systems, upgraded lighting and plumbing, and new air conditioning. Additionally, digital LED screens and an audio/visual package were installed to enhance the customer experience.
Exterior works
The exterior received a significant upgrade with new signage and window glazing. We had to work closely with architects on the structural elements involved in the upgrade of the shop front.
