1. Design & Brief
The fit-out process is a comprehensive journey that transforms a space from a concept to a fully functional environment. It begins with the Design & Brief stage, where a deep understanding of the vision is established. This can involve bringing an existing design to life or collaborating with design partners to refine the concept.
2. Estimation & Finance
The Estimation & Finance phase is crucial for setting a realistic budget and providing an accurate project estimate, which includes a bill of quantities. Cost control and value engineering are key practices throughout every stage to ensure financial efficiency.
3. Site Set Up & Planning
As the project moves into Site Setup and Planning, meticulous management takes over. This includes ensuring compliance with site-specific regulations and creating a detailed work program. Dedicated project and site managers remain engaged throughout, guaranteeing that the project stays on track both timewise and financially.
4. Fit-Out & Refurbishment
The Fit-Out & Refurbishment stage is where the design materialises into reality, adhering to a strict construction program and health and safety policies. Our experienced delivery team, along with specialist subcontractors, work diligently to meet deadlines while ensuring all standards and regulations are met.
5. Completion & Handover
Finally, the Completion & Handover phase marks the culmination of the project. A bespoke management system facilitates a smooth transition to the client, with all necessary certifications and a comprehensive handover document, aligning with Construction Design and Management (CDM) regulations. This systematic approach ensures a high-quality finish that meets both the client's expectations and regulatory requirements.
Health & Safety
SIM are committed to providing a safe working environment for all employees & staff across our nationwide network of sites. Our management team are fully qualified and ensure all site personnel are provided with the latest training and health & safety awareness.
Continually updating our procedures, our external Health and Safety providers alongside SIM management, support all our sites through regular checks & site visits to ensure compliance and standards are maintained.
