GAIL’s Bakery Solihull
Continuing our relationship with GAIL’s, we were tasked with bringing to life the vision of GAIL’s and Holland Harvey on their new Solihull bakery. Located in the centre of Solihull High Street, we have created a warm and vibrant space that elegantly connects past and present.
Design
Drawing inspiration from the distinctive timber-framed Tudor houses, this project prioritizes sustainability by incorporating raw, natural materials that honor the area’s heritage.
Scope of Works
The project included a strip out alongside extensive works such as installing new ceilings throughout, leveling the floor, and constructing new kitchen, toilet, and staff areas. Additionally, roof works were completed, fire doors were installed for enhanced safety, and fixed furniture was fitted to finalise the project.
Sustainability
As with all of the GAIL’s projects, sustainability was at the forefront of the project. Existing features of the building were retained along with reclaimed furniture from other GAIL’s sites.
