Maki Nori is a Japanese handroll restaurant in the heart of Soho, sitting above sister venue Maki & Ramen on the site of the former La Bodega Negra. Spanning 60 covers, including a 20-seat sushi counter where guests can watch chefs prepare handrolls to order.
Scope of Works
SIM Fit-Out delivered and managed the full design, coordination and installation of the mechanical, electrical and catering systems needed to support a fast-paced handroll counter and full dining service. The scope also included bespoke joinery including the sushi counter alongside carefully curated feature decoration.
Authentic Experience
Every aspect of the space was thoughtfully designed and carefully curated to reflect and enhance Maki Nori’s handroll-led dining experience. From the warm timber finishes and counter seating to the lighting and overall layout, each element was selected to complement the brand’s calm, Japanese-inspired identity.
