Reviving Bloomsyard: A Cafe Refurbishment at Watford Station
At SIM Fit-Out, we relish the opportunity to work with businesses like Bloomsyard. Their request for a full refurbishment of their new store at Watford Station, situated within a compact 500 square feet, was an exciting challenge. Bloomsyard, a small chain of artisanal coffee shops in London, entrusted us with crafting an aesthetically pleasing and functional cafe interior.
We collaborated closely with Transport for London to ensure our cafe design adhered to station regulations. Our process began by stripping out redundant fixtures and fittings. With a clean slate, our team set out to create a cafe interior that was truly fantastic. We designed a purpose-built coffee bar and shelving with bespoke joinery, ensuring it reflected the essence of the Bloomsyard brand. To maximise the use of space, we also created an outdoor seating area within the store.
This project marked an exciting phase of expansion for Bloomsyard. We completed a high-quality cafe store fit-out in a remarkably tight timescale of just 2 weeks. Our project management team took on the responsibility of liaising with Transport for London, easing the workload for our client and ensuring a seamless process.
